Students learn how to interact with one another while also singing, acting, exploring rhythm, and playing instruments, which helps them develop social dynamics.
Students participate in music activities that are specifically adapted to their abilities in order to encourage them to engage in more spontaneous, play patterns that will integrate the whole brain and body, resulting in enhanced verbal and motor skills as a consequence of their participation. Following the National Curriculum of England, students in the Transition phase learn to play variety of musical instruments, which will assist them to navigate, comprehend, and participate in social situations more easily, alleviate negative emotions and distress reactions, and help to reinforce desired responses and achieve their assigned targets.
